Withdrawing from summer program BEFORE the session begins:
If a family withdraws no later than one week before the session begins, tuition will be refunded by check, less a $50 service charge. Customers may elect to receive a 100% credit to their account instead, to be used within one year’s time. To request a refund, please contact our office. Refunds will be issued the second week of the session. You will receive the amount paid, minus $50, in the form of a check by the third week of the session. No refunds will be given if withdrawal occurs once the session begins.
Refund Deadlines for the 2018 Summer Program:
SUMMER SESSION A – Must withdraw by Monday, July 2, 2018.
SUMMER SESSION B – Must withdraw by Monday, July 23, 2018.
Withdrawing from summer program AFTER the session begins:
If a family withdraws no later than the end of the first week of the session, a credit for 50% of tuition will be applied to family account, to be used within one year’s time. To request a credit, please contact our office.
Credit Deadlines for the 2018 Summer Program:
SUMMER SESSION A – Must withdraw by Friday, July 13, 2018.
SUMMER SESSION B – Must withdraw by Friday, August 3, 2018.
Tuition Policies for 2018-19 School Year:
Tuition is an annual fee, unrelated to the number of school days in a given month. No payment adjustments will be made for vacation days, holidays or absences. This full-year approach ensures a well-run program for your child.
A 2% tuition reduction will be applied if tuition is fully pre-paid by August 15th.
Tuition may also be paid monthly over a 10-month period, beginning September 2018. Monthly payments are due on the first day of each month. A $25 fee will be charged for payments received after the 5th of the month.
Early Withdrawal Policy
If a family withdraws no later than the end of the second week of school, tuition will be refunded by check, less the tuition deposit and a $50 service charge.
A family electing to withdraw their student after the second week, but before the school year had ended, must pay the remainder of the annual tuition amount. Although individual circumstances may be reviewed, tuition will not be automatically refunded or forgiven unless or until Root Academy is able to fill the open student spot created by the withdrawal.
Refund Deadline for the 2018-19 School Year:
Must withdraw by Friday, September 14, 2018. The tuition deposit is non-refundable.
