Self-defense for neurodiverse* adults and teens

MacKenzie Graham, in partnership with Root Academy, is offering a self-defense class specifically for (and led by) neurodiverse adults and teens. 

Join us on Saturday, April 21st from 1-2pm. Please dress comfortably and bring a water bottle.

*For the purposes of this event, neurodiversity is broadly defined (Aspergers, Autism, ADHD, Bipolar, OCD, sensory processing issues, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Twice Exceptional, etc.).

martial arts and autism

Root Academy is hosting a talk on Saturday, April 28th from 4-5pm. Childcare will be provided. 

MacKenzie Graham, Root Academy Co-Founder and Martial Arts Instructor, will be speaking about how Martial Arts can benefit children with Autism. 

You will learn how balanced movement and meditation, practiced consistently, can provide autistic students with important tools for navigating life challenges.
